Releasing “The Future of Energy-Efficient Haulage” Article in Global Mining Review

We are pleased to announce that the energy efficiency of Railveyor at Agnico Eagle Mines Ltd’s Goldex mine has been measured and analyzed in an independent study from CanmetMINING. The data show that Railveyor’s estimated energy usage aligns closely with the measured totals in situ.

CanmetMINING and Agnico Eagle representatives presented the conclusions of the independent study at the First Annual Mining Vehicle Powertrain Conference (MVPC) in Toronto in October of 2023. You may view the full presentation slideshow online.

An article summarizing the conclusions is now published in Global Mining Review’s January/February 2024 issue. Follow up presentations at SME 2024 MINEXCHANGE conference in Phoenix and CIM 2024 in Vancouver are planned.
