Job Summary:
Rail-Veyor Technologies Global Inc. is a rapidly expanding Sudbury-based company specializing in developing and installing an innovative material haulage system. We have an immediate opening for the position of Construction Supervisor. The successful candidate will be responsible for the successful installation of quality Rail-Veyor systems for clients.
Skills and Responsibilities:
- Ability to guide and coach contractors to success
- Familiar with critical aspects of a Rail-Veyor installation
- Aware of our: Design, Engineering, Procurement, Scheduling, Bid Development, Construction, Start up, Troubleshooting, Service (requirements for successful installation and operation of a Rail-Veyor system)
- Comfortable working in a team environment
- Willing to travel and be away for extended periods
- Flexible work hours
- Willing to become a team expert in some aspect of the Rail-Veyor
- Ability to keep control of costs and schedules
- Ability to ask for help when not sure (Good communications with the team)
- Willing to train others as new people are brought in to the organization
- Commit to the role and team
- Willing to establish and follow a customized training program that will be adjusted as required
- Participate in proposals, bids and planning
- Learn to schedule both durations and costs
- Be exposed to both office and field work
- Spend time discussing installation, construction, planning, contractor management, bidding, risk, cost control, start up, troubleshooting
